Sam Houston Parkway Lane Closures 

Contractors will switch traffic along the Sam Houston Parkway eastbound frontage road to a temporary detour between Imperial Valley and the West Hardy intersection Wednesday night, March 16. Work will start at 9 p.m. and should be complete by 5 a.m. the following day.

Also on Wednesday night, construction crews will close the temporary West Hardy entrance ramp on the westbound frontage road, and open the new permanent West Hardy entrance ramp. On the Sam Houston Parkway main lanes, work crews will shut down the westbound outside lane and temporary ramp starting at 9 p.m. and should have the barrier moved, striped and the new ramp open by 5 a.m. the next morning.
